Introduction

With this document you receive all necessary information on how the testo Saveris multifunctional handle (0560 1010 xx) or the testo 104-IR BT (0560 1045 xx) can be connected with your customer specific app via an open interface.

The sensor data is defined via the Bluetooth standard interface GATT Profile (Generic Attribute Profile).

To be able to use the functions, it is mandatory to have a valid key. This key is provided by Testo and is uniquely assigned to the customer.

Attention

The custom service (value) is only activated if a valid combination of integrator name and license key is entered.

The GATT specification defines the services and a set of attributes.

Four services are defined:

  1. device information: contains e.g., serial number
  2. custom service (key): the device can be enabled here
  3. custom service (value): here online values can be queried e.g. temperature
  4. custom service (serial profile): here a proprietary Testo protocol is defined (not relevant for the customer application)
